Mysterious, passionate and uninhibited, In The Woods begins quietly until it literally explodes with desire. Shot, remarkably, on digital camera, the shallow depth of field and vivid colours lend a painterly, expressionistic stroke to the film's visuals. It follows three young, attractive people - two men and a woman - as they traverse through lush valleys and forests. Playful, explicit sexual advances parallel the threesome's interaction with nature, until an unexpected tryst causes a rupture in their peace.
